1) General Access to Services: Patients have the right to benefit from healthcare services within the principles of justice and equity. They have the right to receive services regardless of race, language, religion, sect, gender, philosophical belief, or economic and social status.
2) Right to Information and to Request Information: Patients have the right to learn what healthcare services and opportunities are available and to request any information about their health status, either verbally or in writing.
3) Right to Choose and Change Healthcare Providers and Personnel: Patients have the right to choose and change their healthcare institution, to benefit from the services provided at the chosen facility, and to learn the identities, duties, and titles of the physicians and other healthcare staff providing their care, as well as the right to select and change them.
4) Right to Privacy and Confidentiality: Patients have the right to receive all types of healthcare services in an environment that ensures privacy.
5) Right to Refuse, Stop Treatment, and Give Consent: Patients have the right to refuse treatment, to request that it be stopped, to have their consent obtained for medical interventions, and to benefit from services within the framework of that consent.
6) Right to Safety: Patients have the right to receive healthcare services in a safe and secure environment.
7) Right to Fulfill Religious Obligations: Patients have the right to fulfill their religious duties to the extent permitted by the facility’s resources and within the framework of measures taken by the administration.
8) Right to Dignity, Respect, and Comfort: Patients have the right to receive healthcare with respect, care, and attention in a friendly, polite, and compassionate environment where all hygienic conditions are met and all noisy and disturbing factors have been eliminated.
9) Right to Visitation and a Companion: Patients have the right to receive visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the healthcare facility. They also have the right to have a companion, subject to legal regulations, the facility’s resources, and the physician’s approval.
10) Right to Apply, Complain, and Take Legal Action: In the event of a violation of their rights, patients have the right to use all forms of application, complaint, and litigation as permitted by law.
